Mission
Numu Communications was founded for one purpose; to provide broadband internet and cellular network services to chronically unserved Indigenous Nations. As a majority Native-owned business, we understand the unique challenges of providing service for Tribes, many of whom are located in remote and rural areas. Our goal is to provide network services and training so Tribal Communities can own and manage their own communications infrastructure.
-
Technology
Our unique next generation network is purpose built to provide broadband internet services over mobile networks. Service speeds are up to 100Mbps Symmetrical for Fixed Wireless and 1Gbps Symmetrical for Fiber. In addition, our mobile network infrastructure has 5x the coverage of traditional equipment, allowing Numu Communications to serve more community members in a short timeframe. The technology provides a unique opportunity for Tribes to own future-proof internet and cellular network infrastructure.
